Terms of Service
Marketplace role
1eko operates a technology marketplace that helps consumers request local service quotes and helps independent businesses receive and respond to relevant opportunities. 1eko is not the contractor performing the work and is not a party to the service contract between a consumer and a provider unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise.
Consumer use
Consumers may use the quote-request service without a request fee. Information submitted must be accurate enough to permit useful matching. You must have authority to provide the contact details and job information you submit. A request does not guarantee provider availability, a particular number of responses, a particular price, or that a provider will accept the job.
Provider use
A provider registering on 1eko must be authorized to represent the business and must provide accurate business, contact, service-area, licensing, insurance, and other requested information. Providers are responsible for keeping that information current. 1eko may review, verify, pause, reject, suspend, or remove a profile where information is incomplete, expired, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with platform rules.
Leads and fees
Providers may be charged for eligible leads according to the price displayed before acceptance or according to an agreed pricing plan. Lead pricing can vary by service, location, quality, exclusivity, or other disclosed factors. A lead is an opportunity, not a guaranteed sale. A provider remains responsible for deciding whether to accept the opportunity, preparing its quote, and determining whether the job fits its capabilities.
Invalid-lead disputes and credits
Where the platform offers an invalid-lead dispute or credit process, eligibility depends on the rules shown for that lead or account. Examples may include clearly false contact information, duplicate charging for the same opportunity, or a request outside the represented category or service area. A consumer choosing another provider, deciding not to proceed, failing to answer after a valid submission, or rejecting a quote does not by itself make a lead invalid.
Quotes and service agreements
Providers control their own quote amounts, scope, availability, terms, and conditions. Consumers should review what is included, materials, disposal, taxes, timing, payment terms, warranties, licensing, insurance, and any other terms important to the job. Any contract for the actual service is between the consumer and the selected provider.
Reviews and platform content
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and may be moderated for fraud, harassment, unlawful content, irrelevant material, conflicts of interest, or manipulation. Providers may be permitted to respond. You may not submit fake reviews, impersonate another person or business, scrape restricted account information, interfere with platform security, send spam, misuse another user's contact information, or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Communications and contact data
Contact information received through a lead may be used only for legitimate communication about that request and related service. Providers must follow applicable calling, email, text-message, privacy, and marketing rules. 1eko may keep platform records of notices, messages, matching, quote activity, and selection activity for security, attribution, support, and dispute handling.
Payments
Provider charges, wallet credits, refunds, subscriptions, or future qualified-call products may use third-party payment services. You authorize the charges you expressly accept under the applicable pricing arrangement. Failed payments may pause lead access or other paid features. Taxes, accounting treatment, and business reporting obligations remain the responsibility of the party to whom they apply.
No guarantee of provider performance
Verification, reviews, rankings, matching scores, or badges are informational tools and do not guarantee a provider's work, availability, conduct, solvency, licensing status at a future date, or suitability for a particular project. Consumers should make their own hiring decision and confirm credentials required for the specific work and jurisdiction.
Suspension and misuse
1eko may limit or suspend access to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with law, address payment issues, preserve platform integrity, or enforce these terms. Automated protections may be used, but significant account actions may also be reviewed by platform staff.
Availability and changes
The service may change as features, markets, provider coverage, pricing, integrations, or legal requirements evolve. We aim for reliable operation but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, third-party outages, security events, or circumstances outside reasonable control can affect service.
Liability and applicable law
To the extent permitted by applicable law, 1eko is responsible for operating its own marketplace services but is not responsible for independent providers' workmanship or contractual performance. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Additional jurisdiction-specific terms may apply where required.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms as the marketplace develops. The current version and update date are published here. Continued use after an effective update is subject to the revised terms where permitted by law.
